Kyoto 2009, el sitio: Butokuden |
|
Butokuden (Place of the Buda). It’s the dojo for the Festival of 2009, situated west from the temple of Heian. It was built in 1900 like a place that promotes the bujitsu. Today the Butokuden is the main source of budo in Kyoto. It is a place where you can practice Aikido, Kendo, Judo, etc. It has a rich outside decoration with a very unique and traditional style. Inside you can find a very simple area of practice, with seats and bright windows. The Butokuden represents one of the best examples of the modern budo, and it contributes to the promotion of the Japanese bujitsu. . |
